"It" Begins
TL;DR: Zach started writing about things that he will refer to as "musings" going forward.

I don't consider myself a particularly good writer, however, I do find writing to be a useful medium for developing thoughts and ideas. Getting thoughts that exist solely in my head onto more permanent storage seems to create the headspace I find helpful for further progress. When I think of photographers who were also notable writers Galen Rowell, Erin Babnik, and Guy Tal immediately come to mind. While I'll never know if writing was integral to their development as photographers, at the very least it seems like a worthy addition to the toolkit.
I've never felt comfortable with the thought of keeping a journal and certainly don't want to add to the legions of bloggers, so instead I'm going to refer to my writings as "musings". They will cover a variety of topics relating to photography, travel, adventure, and in general things that I've found useful or am pondering. My hope is that this will more closely resemble a conversation than lecture, so I will enable and welcome comments! Trolling and uncivil commentary will lead to banning, so please play nice :)
